SURI is a social enterprise that provides financial opportunity and living skill of sewing for single and underprivileged mothers in Klang. SURI turns unwanted denim materials into fashionable handbags, backpacks, totes, accessories, apparel and other household items. SURI also believes in protecting the environment through upcycling.

Social/Environmental impact & Achievements (As at Oct 2019)

• Impact on environment – 5690 pairs of unused /pre-loved jeans collected

• 3181 products produced and 2870 units of products sold

• 10 single/ underprivileged mothers employed with an average wage of RM800 – RM1000 extra income a month per month.

• The 10 beneficiaries are all certified under the SKM Level 3
