Li Tsin first cut her teeth in the media industry as a journalist for news portal Malaysiakini prior to joining the British High Commission, International Republican Institute and Internews. Among her earliest honors are founding the organization for bloggers, and convening BUM 2007, the first ever socio-political bloggers gathering in Malaysia to mark World Press Freedom Day.
